I had the chance to visit some places during my UC in Mindanao.

Rugby, Fun - HK Sevens

"HK Sevens" is a famous International Rugby Game in Hong Kong every year. I am lucky that I have a chance to take pictures for this event in this year.

Why this game is so famous? Besides the games are exciting, the people watching this game is also very interesting. They will spend their time to think about their make up / dress and try to make themselves outstanding from the crowd. Also, it is allowed to drink Beer in the stadium!! Music + Dance + Beer make it look like a party!

"Optimus Prime"
This is my dad's truck of which he built himself. He bought the rusted and damaged body for 3,000 php and assembled the engine and all the truck's parts. Also, he's the one who painted the truck's exterior and designed the interior. Complete with superb sound system and small LCD TV. It took him almost a year to finish everything.

We watched the Transformers movie, and my dad was so amazed by it that's why he called his truck the Optimus Prime : )

Calesa (or Kalesa in Tagalog) was one of the means of transportation introduced in Philippines in the 18th century by the Spaniards that only nobles and high ranked officials could afford. It’s the oldest mode of transportation in Philippines that can only be seen in some part of the City Manila particularly in Binondo-Chinatown and Intramuros.

Snap Shoot

On last weekend, I went to visit my friend's home in Sai Kung. Sai Kung is a bit far from the city and famous in seafood. Some photos are uploaded to share with you.

Equipment mainly used: EOS5D MKII, 135f2L and 35f1.4L

35f1.4L is belonged to one of my friends. 35f1.4L is one of the best Canon lenses I tried so far. It is expensive but show its value.

Transportation - Lex Woon

I went to Krabi,Thailand last weekend for holiday. The place is great! with lots of shopping, beaches and island.. below are some pictures taken at Krabi for the competition.. :)




This is a motorbike converted into a taxi..lucky there are no passengers there, he is sleeping while driving!!

HK Flower Show

I also take some photos in HK flower show. The weather is quite nice and the flowers arrangement is not bad.

I mainly use the 100f2.8 macro lens and 500f8 Mirror lens. This is first time for me to use the Mirror lens. My Mirror lens is Tamron brand and bought from 2nd hand market. The effect of Mirror lens is interesting - the light /spot will become "circle" in the background which make the pictures unique.
